| Chester Lee '70 (Chem.E.), '74 M.B.A. is an internal management consultant for AIG, specializing in "Six Sigma" process improvement strategies. A former Program Director for Electronic Commerce Services at IBM, he spent 17 years at Citibank in various management positions. He has extensive small business experience, is active in civic affairs in Brooklyn, and a board member of the Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association, Asian Columbia Alumni Association, the Brooklyn Historical Society, BEC New Communities HDFC, Chinese American Planning Council, and the First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn. He is chair of the Advisory Group for the First American International Bank. Chester is married to Diana, an attorney, and they have two sons, Michael and Douglas. Douglas is currently a sophomore in the Columbia Engineering School. |

Conrad Lung is the co-founder of the New York based Sunnex, Inc., a manufacturer and wholesaler of women's apparel. Currently, the company markets five brands in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe and China.
A native of Canton, china, Lung attended school in Hong Kong before matriculating at the College, where he majored in oriental studies. He earned a master's and an M.Phil. at Yale, where he taught briefly.
In 1977, Lung become vice president of the apparel manufacture Wrightfox International. In 1979, he moved to Maurice Sassoon Jeans as vice president for operations. In 1981, the New York Jean Co. hired him as executive vice president in charge of merchandising and marketing. In 1986, Lung cofounded Sun on -Sunnex International Holding Corp in Hong Kong as a buying office for Sunnex. In 1987, he co-founded China Silk Enterprises Ltd.,which operates manufacturing facilities in the People's Republic of China.
In 1992, Lung co-founded the Sun On Trust, a not-for-profit organization that performs charitable work in China. Lung helped found the Asian Columbia Alumni Association and served as the group's first president. He received the John Jay Award for Distinguished Professional Achievement in 2002.

| Professor Somasundaran received his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and his Bachelor of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science in 1961. Before joining Columbia University, he worked for the International Minerals and Chemical Corporation and Reynolds Industries. He was appointed ss the first La von Duddleson Krumb Professor in the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the first Director of the Langmuir Center for Colloids & Interfaces and founding director of the National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Center for Advanced Studies in Novel Surfactants. He was also elected Chairman of the Henry Krumb School at Columbia University , as Chair of Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Mineral Engineering in 1992 and 1995.
He was inducted in l985 into the National Academy of Engineering, among the highest professional distinction that can be conferred to an engineer and later to the Chinese, Indian and Russian National Academies. He is the recipient of the Antoine M. Gaudin Award (1982), the Robert H. Richards Award (l987), the Arthur F. Taggart Award for best paper (1987) of AIME, "Most Distinguished Achievement in Engineering" award from The Association of Indians in America (AINA) and Asian American Higher Education Council Award among others. In addition, he was awarded the "Ellis Island Medal of Honor" in 1990, along with four former presidents, U.N. Ambassador Thomas Pickering and Danny Thomas, the Leadership citation from the New Jersey Senate in 1991 and the Engineering Foundations’s 1992 Frank F. Aplan Award. He is the author/editor of fifteen books and over 400 scientific publications and patents. He is the honorary editor-in-chief of the international journal “Colloids and Surfaces” and the editor of the “Encyclopedia of Surface and Colloid Science”. He was the Chairman of the Board of Engineering foundation (1993-95) and currently on the board of the new United Engineering Foundation. His interests are in Surface and Colloid Chemistry and mineral processing, particularly on interactions among surfactants, polymers, and proteins with solid surfaces and the effect on dispersion, deposition, wettability, corrosion inhibition, flotation, enhanced oil recovery and waste treatment.

Before joining Investcorp in 1984, Savio Tung was Deputy Managing Director and General Manager of the Arab Asian Bank of Bahrain where he served on the credit, treasury and management committees and was a director of Arab Asian International of Hong Kong, a subsidiary. Prior to that he spent nine years with Chase Manhattan Bank, where his responsibilities included liaison with government institutions and companies in the Gulf area and working with Chase Manhattan Ltd., the bank's London merchant banking subsidiary, on large syndicated loan financing transactions. He was a key executive in establishing Chase's Bahrain office and marketing presence in the Gulf. He also served as representative at Chase's Abu Dhabi office.
Savio currently serves on the boards of httprint, ObjectStar, Vaultus and Willtek.
Savio holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, where he is also a trustee. He also completed Chase's management training program in credit and banking. |

Tiffany Woo is the Global Clinical Development Leader, Anesthesia Division, for Organon Pharmaceuticals. She is currently working at NV Organon, which is located in the Netherlands, and is in charge of anesthesia development projects in the US, Europe, and Japan.
She has been involved with ACAA in planning events previous events such as the Networking event, the Asian Heritiage Festival, and the Columbia University Gala Fundraising event in 2002 and hopes to continue to be active upon her return from the Netherlands. She has been an active member of the Asian community and has been the past President, Treasurer, and Social Director of the NY chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) and was also on the NAAAP National Board of Directors. Tiffany currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors of the Columbia University Club of NY. |
